Some time ago I came up with a challenge for Little Rascals to build a playground out of Lego® bricks. It would be a perfect activity for our Club, but during the summer we had to put the meetings on hold and I just couldn’t wait!
Kids loved the idea and we all worked really hard on accomplishing the task. We spent two days building and rebuilding, trying different ideas and implementing different solutions. Yes, “we”, as I often build with them. Home education is, after all, a nice excuse for an adult to play the whole day ;-)
We started small, but after hours of construction, we achieved really great results! The playground has different kinds of swings, a see-saw, a roundabout, jungle gyms with slides and wobbly bridges (for both toddlers and older children) and a zip line. There’s also a sandpit and a picnic area. And there’s even a small train riding around the park – I had to add a train to keep S’s interest and involvement.
This is how our playground looked when done:
I love it!!!! You did excellent job guys!!!
