I’m still working on our collection, but they are sooo cute that I just have to show them to you! Little apples made from yarn.
They are very easy to make and very… addictive! Once I started I couldn’t stop and instead of going to sleep I was sitting and making more and more. Red, yellow and green. I have over a dozen already but will definitely make more.
I’ve been wanting to make them for a long time, since I first read about yarn pumpkins on Counting Coconuts. Now I wish I’ve started sooner!
The idea and instructions come from Make and takes.
They can be sorted by colour, used for counting, addition, subtraction. They can be put in the nature basket or used for the sensory bins. Or they can be simply an autumn decoration. And I’m sure with time I’ll find more ways of using and enjoying them!
